Jordan is one of the most water-scarce countries in the world. For decades, the country has launched several water supply projects and built water infrastructures with the aid from abroad. Meanwhile, it kept receiving waves of refugees from nearby countries due to wars and conflicts throughout the history of the Kingdom of Jordan.
